The Sports & Entertainment team consists of highly talented individuals who bring their unique skills to maximize our clients’ success. You can find out more about two of our key principals, Buzz Carroll and Brian Cooper, below. Before founding Sports & Entertainment LP in 1973, Buzz Carroll coordinated and executed a wide variety of music and entertainment projects. These included production and staging of live concert events, record production, promotion and television direction. Buzz also managed the business interests for some of the world’s greatest stunt men including Evel Knievel. He was responsible for producing a number of stunts for film and television including That’s Incredible, Wide World of Sports, Bizarre, and High Point. Buzz also launched The Golf Report, a TV magazine series entering its ninth season on Rogers Sportsnet and served for nine years on the board of Canada’s Walk of Fame.   Brian Cooper has over 25 years’ experience in a wide variety of executive positions throughout the sports and entertainment industry. He founded Insight Sports Ltd., a well-known broadcast/production company and  built properties like: The NHL Network, GOL TV, The World Fishing Network, Gold Rush 2002, Ultimate Gretzky, and the long-running TV series, The Business of Sports. Brian was VP Operations and Business Development at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment and was part of the executive team that created and launched the Raptors brand experience (an innovative blend of entertainment, sport and music). He was also President and COO of the Toronto Argonauts and was credited with the revival of football in the Toronto marketplace in the 1990s. Brian currently sits on the charitable boards of the Toronto Blue Jays Foundation, the Toronto Grand Prix/Champ Car Foundation, the Wayne Gretzky Foundation and Canada Basketball.
